Functionality

When opening the Dependencie feature from the More section in the app you have to select a Task whose dependencies you want to manage first. You do this by tapping on the green Pick Task button in the middle of the screen. From the Task list, set a Task by tapping the + button.

You will now see the selected Task, it's Parents and it's Children.

Pick Parent / Child

You can add a new parent or child to a selected Task via the pick buttons. The already existing parent or child Dependencies will stay in place. Whe in the list, you add a parent or child Task via the + button.

Circular References

When picking a parent or child Task, we actively hide some Tasks that would create a circular reference where Task A is dependant on Task B which is dependant on Task A.

Create Task

You can create a Task either as a parent or child to the selcted Task or create a new selected Task without any existing dependencies. Parent or child Tasks will always be added sequential to the selected Task.
