Date Picker: Present, Past and Future

In the top left corner you can find a date picker which shows you all Routines and their status for the selected date.

In Svayy we save your data event based. This means that you will always have a perfect record of each day looking back into the past. You can even plan Routines into the future however you like. The cool thing about this approach is, that you can select a future date and see how much Score a Routine would gather over time if you leave it undone. You can also create Routines at a future date, which helps you remind new Routines that are not relevant in the present, yet.

Importance

You can set a value for a Routines Importance. On creation, the default value is 1. Importance is used to indicate how urgent or important a Routine is in relation to all other Routines. It is most comminly used to create a hirarchy where the Routine with the highest Importance is the one that you should tackle first. Importance is set on the left side input field of each Routine.

Inflammation

Each day you put off a Routine, it gathers +1 Inflammation. On the day of it's creation a Routine has a Inflammation of 1.

Score

The Score is calculated by multiplying the Importance of a Routine with the number of days it hasn’t been done. So for example a Routine with an Importance of 5 that has been open for 3 days will have a Score of 15.

The Score is influenced by it's availability. If you for example pause a Routine with an Importance of 5 and an Inflammation of 3, which results in a Score of 15, it's Score won't increase on the day it's paused.

Another influence on a Routines Score are Elastic Routines. Elastic Routines define 3 stages for a Routine. Each stage, when completed for the day, influences the Score differently:

  1. Mini = Score stays the same (+/- 0 Score)
  2. Intermediate = Removes 1 x Importance from the Score
  3. Elite = Removes 2 x Importance from the Score
Changing Importance

Note that if you change a Routines Importance, it will change in the past, present and in the future and the Score is recalculated based on it.

Streaks

Each Routine incurs a streak, a value increasing with each day, unless you break it.

Svayy will show you a value for your current streak, positive or nagative. For example you will see a red number if you missed a Routine for more than one day in a row. If you have completed a Routine for more than one day in a row, you will see a green streak.

The border colors of the streak indicator map onto the following consistency values:

  1. Mastered (over 90%) = green
  2. Well-managed (80% - 90%) = blue
  3. Could be better (50% - 80%) = orange
  4. Inconsistent (under 50%) = red

Search and Tags

To find Routines more easily, you can use the search field to look for them. The search field will filter the list of Routines for the selected date by it's title.

Another way to filter Routines is through tags. You can open a list of Tags via the Tag-Icon next to the search field. You can filter the lists of Routines by clicking on the tags shown in the filter button:

  • green = include all Routines that have this tag
  • red = exclude all Routines that have this tag
  • gray = default, no rule applied
